๐ŸŽ’ What to Pack

What to Pack

Packing for a week aboard is easier than you might think.

Storage on a catamaran is designed for soft luggage, so we recommend bringing a soft-sided duffel bag or travel backpack. If you prefer to travel with a rolling suitcase, that’s perfectly fine for your flightsโ€”just be sure it’s an appropriate size for your cabin.

Clothing

Croatia’s sailing season is wonderfully relaxed, so casual, comfortable clothing is all you’ll need.

We recommend packing:

  • Lightweight shorts, t-shirts, and casual summer clothing
  • A light sweater or jacket for cooler evenings
  • A rain jacket or lightweight windbreaker
  • Several swimsuits
  • Sleepwear
  • Sun hat and sunglasses
  • Reef-safe sunscreen

Footwear

No need to pack five pairs of shoes!

A comfortable pair of walking shoes for exploring historic cobblestone streets, water shoes with non-marking soles for swimming and getting ashore, and a pair of flip-flops or sandals are really all you’ll need.

Optional Items

You may also wish to bring:

  • Snorkel gear, if you prefer using your own equipment
  • A reusable water bottle
  • A good book or e-reader
  • A camera
  • Clothespins
  • Packable laundry sheets or preferably a no-rinse travel detergent

Good to Know

Croatia uses the Euro (โ‚ฌ).

While credit cards are widely accepted in larger towns and cities, some of the smaller island konobas and businesses may not accept cards, or card machines may occasionally be unavailable. We recommend bringing some Euros in cash for dinners, cafรฉs, markets, and smaller island communities.

We’ll take care of the sailingโ€”you just need to pack for a wonderful week on the water.
